Press: Artwhirl Gallery presents it's new show at the Gallery titled, "Fauna". Fauna, a show celebrating the wonders of the animal kingdom, will open at the gallery on November 9th, from 12pm - 5pm. The show closes on November 30th, 2019.

Featured Artists: Brittni Paul, Saskia Huitema, Kim Gordon, Kahla Lewis, Olga Ponomorenko, Vasilisa Romanenko, Stephanie Stevenson, Tammy Wampler, Michelle Waters, Skye Becker-Yamikawa.

Artwhirl Gallery is Nassau County’s first and only gallery dedicated to New Contemporary Art. Artwhirl Gallery is located at 30 West Park Avenue, #204, Long Beach, NY 11561. All events at the gallery are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. A portion of each sale at the gallery goes to FarmUp Jamaica, a charitable organization supporting sustainable farming practices on the island of Jamaica!

About the Owner & Founder: Kim Gordon is a graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, showing her original fine art in over 60 art exhibitions worldwide since 2008. Additionally, Gordon donates her works to charitable causes, including the Sea No Evil Art Show, Pangeaseed and Habitat For Humanity. Features of Gordon’s work, by a number of publications, include Beautiful Bizarre Magazine, Clutter Magazine, Complex Magazine, Wired Magazine and Hi-Fructose magazine. Her first show (acting as curator), titled, “Hope Beyond” brought together a talented roster of artists to successfully raise money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. In 2019 she created a permanent home for fellow New Contemporary artists in her hometown of Long Beach, New York at Artwhirl Gallery.
