Ana Bagayan

I was born in Yerevan, Armenia in 1983 and earned a BFA in Illustration from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA in 2005. I live in southern California with my husband and two dogs.

I have exhibit paintings and drawings in renowned galleries around the world for 15 years including Hidari Zingaro (Japan), FB69 (Germany), La Luz de Jesus (Los Angeles), Roq la Rue (Seattle)

I am inspired by the metaphysical – E.T.s, aliens, spirits, ghosts, intergalactic space creatures, ethereal beings, anything that hints at the idea that we are just a small part of the unimaginably vast Universe

My illustrations have been commissioned by SONY BMG, Spin, Rolling Stone, Publicis Mojo, Diesel, Honda, Mighty Fine, Sydney Symphony, Young Guns, Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Saatchi & Saatchi, Weiden & Kennedy London, GQ, Men’s Health, among others.

My awards include numerous American Illustration and Communication Arts awards, as well as Gold Ozzie Award, SILA, and Eckersleys Award.
