Bio: Brynn Elizabeth's work explores the relationship between mythical archetypes and personal experiences. With influences from the Pre-Raphaelites and Romantics, her paintings appear as dreamlike images in which fiction and reality meet, meanings shift, past and present fuse. Emotions and memory always play a key role. She creates her oil and acrylic paintings through labor-intensive, multilayered processes which act as a personal meditation on the journey from concept to final form. She aims to stir wonder and reflection within viewers and create a lasting, lingering impression.
Brynn's work is collected both nationally and internationally, and she frequently participates in gallery exhibitions. She currently lives and works in John Day, Oregon.
